Chocobo Ringtone

While each game in the Final Fantasy RPG series is set in an entirely different world from the rest, with entirely different characters and absolutely unrelated storylines, a few familiar faces show up in every game. One of these faces is the Chocobo - the giant yellow ostrich-like creature that serves as transportation for the party.

Another thing that stays the same is the Chocobo's theme music. Several versions exist - FF6 has Techno de Chocobo, FF10 has Brass de Chocobo and FF7 has no less than four variants - but the basic melody is always the same.

The following ringtone is, strictly speaking, FF7's Electric de Chocobo. Dropping the BPM to 125 fits both FF6's Techno de Chocobo or FF8's Odeka ke Chocobo (the electronic sounding one), both of which are essentially the same rhythym. I don't think Nokia phones can handle 150BPM (FF7's Fiddle de Chocobo), and FF9's Chocobo themes are in a different key.
